How to read it
Cents per point is the cash rate for the night, after tax, divided by the points it costs, times 100: the top row asks 40,000 points for a night that sells for $855 after tax, so each point is doing 2.14 cents of work. A redemption above the value you would otherwise get from the points (most people use 0.5–1 cent as the floor for hotel programs) is the one to book; below it, pay cash and keep the points.
Best night is the single night in the window with the highest cpp; avg is the mean over every night that had a copay-free award on sale, which is the steadier number if your dates are flexible. Nights is how many of the known nights had such an award — a 1/1 row was observed on one night only.
